Days 1- 4

Sonaisali Island

On arrival into Fiji, you will be met and transferred to Sonaisali Island and your hotel for five nights – the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Fiji. Adopting a charming beach house style with its thatched roofs and utterly beautiful lagoon-style pool right next to the ocean, this luxury hotel is the perfect place to relax, soak up the sun, and indulge in a handcrafted cocktail or two.

The days will be spent at your leisure, enjoying thrilling water sports, lounging by the pool or dining on fresh cuisine cooked with ingredients grown from the island’s volcanic soil. During the day perhaps embark on a Jet Boat down the Sigatoka River or visit the Fijian village of Navala where the locals still live in traditional thatched roof 'bures' nestled into the side of the mountain Ba.

Day 5

The Sacred Islands

On day five you will transfer to Denarau and cruise to the Sacred Islands on a high-speed catamaran to meet and board the Fiji Princess, a cruise ship that will take you to a number of Fiji’s unspoilt islands over the next four nights. Your cruise will begin with a lunch on board, before spending the rest of the day exploring the Sacred Islands. Enjoy sugary white sands, azure waters perfect for swimming, kayaking, or sunbathing on the beach. In the evening, enjoy sparkling wine and canapes before heading along to the Captain’s Dinner in the dining saloon.

Day 6

Yasawa Islands

The morning will be spent lounging on the sundeck, taking in the panoramic vistas of the ocean, white sandy beaches and views of the Yasawa Islands before arriving at Blue Lagoon – a long stretch of water encircled by islands, creating a vibrant lagoon. Here you’ll be able to explore Blue Lagoon Cruise’s private beach on Nanuya LaiLai, taking in the beautiful, untouched sceneries before a delicious BBQ lunch served on the beach. Spend the afternoon enjoying an optional activity such as snorkelling, fish feeding, volleyball, water aerobics or one of our favourite pastimes is joining in with a coconut demonstration.

In the evening, you’ll dine on a traditional Lovo meal under the stars, cooked underground in a specially prepared pit, before enjoying a colourful evening of Meke performances including dancing, singing and storytelling.

Day 7

Sawa-I-Lau Caves and Tamusua

The morning enjoy a 40 minute guided walk to the local's favourite cafe, Lo's Tea Shop located on the other side of the island. Hop back on board and venture to Sawa-I-Lau. Upon arrival you will visit the village of Tamusua, where you will enjoy a spectacular yaqona ceremony, a guided walk around the village and a delicious authentic Fijian feast prepared by the local village women - all before nipping back on board the ship for a movie night on the upper theatre deck.

Day 8

Drawaqa Island

Day eight will be spent on Drawaqa Island, where you’ll meet with a Marine Biologist to learn all about the local fish, and the amazing conservation work being partaken by the Vinaka Fiji Volunteer team. If you’re travelling between May and October, you’ll be able to feed and perhaps even swim with majestic manta rays, whilst those travelling from October to April will enjoy a guided Reef Safari snorkelling tour to see the vibrant coral and marine life.

Your last evening on board the Fiji Princess will be spent tucking into a delicious BBQ under the stars, dancing along to resident DJ "Fiji Afro Jack’s" tunes well into the night.

Offering an authentic island experience and true barefoot luxury, this beautiful beachside resort is perfect for unwinding and enjoying the views. With rustic bures scattered along the sugary sand beach, a stay here is secluded, intimate and very laidback indeed.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy should you fancy a more active few days, including a variety of complimentary water sports and twice daily snorkel excursions, or you could simply indulge in a revitalising treatment at Makare Wellness Spa. Each day you’ll have a great variety of delicious restaurants to choose from too, including fresh seafood at Dick’s Place Bar & Bistro, or casual BBQ food at Musket Cove Yacht Club Island Bar.
