Day 1 (Friday)
Buenos Aires
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you’ll transfer from the airport to your hotel for check-in.
This evening, you’ll be taken to the Tango House La Ventana, a must when visiting this wonderful city. Tango is a tradition that started here at the end of the previous century, and La Ventana is one of the most authentic Tango Houses, set in the heart of Buenos Aires’ tango scene. During this excursion, you can opt for a tango lesson with professional teachers, or for a wine tasting session. Afterwards, you will enjoy a three-course dinner and a tango show before returning to your hotel at around midnight.
Three-course dinner and half a bottle of wine or two beers per person is included.

Day 2
Buenos Aires
Today you will take a city tour of Buenos Aires, visiting the famous Avenida de Mayo which runs into the Plaza De Mayo, and the Metropolitan Cathedral which is Argentina’s main catholic building. You’ll then enjoy a coffee and a snack in the famous Café Tortoni, the oldest literati café in the city, before heading to La Boca, a vibrant, colourful area which features the famous street, Caminito. Your tour then continues north to Recoleta, one of the city’s most glamerous spots home to elegant boutiques and divine eateries. Your final stop on this tour is the Recoleta Cemetery, considered to be one of the most impressive monuments in Argentina, the mausoleums and pantheons reflect Argentina’s cultural diversity.
Your afternoon is at leisure, but you may wish to book an optional tour to enjoy; the Argentina Culinary Experience is a great choice, where you will delight in a selection of Argentinian specialities such as Patagonian trout Tatar served with Torrontes wine. You’ll then delight in what is claimed to be the ‘very best steak in Argentina’, before learning how to make and enjoying Argentina’s National Sweet.

Day 3
Buenos Aires – Ushuaia
Today you will transfer to the domestic airport for a flight to Ushuaia. Ushuaia is the capital of its territory and the southernmost city in the world - known as the end of the world, you must explore the restaurants and try the excellent spider crabs.
Upon arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel, and on the way you will do a short city orientating tour with a photography stop at one of Ushuaia’s panoramic spots.

Day 4
Ushuaia
In the morning, you will enjoy a half-day tour to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, the southernmost extreme of the Americas – this windswept archipelago is beautiful and ancient. In the afternoon, you’ll head out of the city to Estancia Harberton, where you’ll explore the farm and learn about its origins; the estancia was founded in 1866 and is the oldest building on the island.
Later on in the day, you will take a short sailing trip to Martillo Island, where you’ll have the incredible chance to watch a colony of Magellan and Gentoo penguins waddling around close to you – during the walking tour you will also see skuas, albatrosses, petrels, cormorants and other bird species. Return to Estancia Harberton and enjoy some leisure time to visit the birds, sea and mammals museum before returning to Ushuaia.
Optional Tour: Penguin Colony navigation tour including Lunch – Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near the harbour before boarding a catamaran to navigate along the Channel with fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities. Upon arrival at Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, you can witness the colonies of cormorants before enjoying magnificent mountain, channel and coastal views. Then you’ll head to Martillo Island for the chance to see a colony of Magellan penguins and you’ll then return back to Ushuaia on the catamaran, which offers fantastic views of the beautiful scenery, historic sights and mountainous landscapes.

Day 5
Ushaia – Calafate
Transfer to the airport and catch a flight to El Calafate (not included). You’ll be picked up from the airport by a local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 6
Calafate – Perito Moreno – Calafate
Today, you’ll embark on a full-day tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier. After a drive through the National Park Los Glaciares and the beautiful forest, you’ll witness the spectacular glacier – one of the few glaciers that are still growing. You will have two hours to soak up the magnificent vistas before heading back to Calafate.

Day 7
Calafate – Buenos Aires
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires (not included); upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day can be spent making the most of this glorious city.
