Overview

Less than an hour from the airport, Club Hotel Dolphin is an excellent value all-inclusive resort based on Sri Lanka’s sunny west coast. Surrounded by bronzed beach and deep blue ocean, the location is one of the big draws.

The freshwater pool, reported to be the largest in Sri Lanka, runs an azure ribbon around the resort offering the perfect place to relax or go for a swim. There are plenty of on-site activities to have fun and free Wi-Fi to ensure your holiday is as stress-free as possible – just like it should be.

  • Superior Poolside Terrace – 37sqm rooms with views of the beach or pool area and located on the ground floor with either a king bed or twin beds, a walk-in shower and furnished terrance. Sleeps 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults.
  • Superior Family Room - 37sqm rooms with a furnished balcony, one king bed and a bunk beds for the kids, a walk-in shower and sea views. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children.
  • Garden View Villa - 44sqm rooms, each unit is seperate in itself with a king bed, furnished terrace, a walk-in shower and lush garden views. Sleeps 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults.
  • Sea View Villa - 44sqm rooms, each unit is seperate in itself with a king bed, furnished terrace, a walk-in shower and sweeping ocean views. Sleeps 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults.
  • Junior Suite - 74sqm room with a king bed, seperate sitting area and sofa, dining table, rain shower and bath and a furnished balcony and gorgeous ocean views. Sleeps 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults.

Poya Day (Religious Holiday)

Once a month, the full-moon day is declared a sacred holiday in Sri Lanka, based on the Buddhist calendar. The sale of alcohol is prohibited by law on this sacred day.

Sri Lanka is a largely Buddhist country and you will often find restrictions on alcohol in place. On Full Moon Poya days and public holidays the government prohibits the serving of alcohol, but guests are able to enjoy pre-purchased drinks or those from the hotel minibar.
