Useful facts for your holiday to the Seychelles
Flight and Transfers
There are no direct flights from the UK to the Seychelles. You’ll fly indirect via Dubai, Qatar or Abu Dhabi. The standard total flying time will be approximately 14 hours. We can also provide regional flights from Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow.
If you book your transfers with us you’ll be met at the airport by one of our representatives who will guide you to your vehicle.
Visa Requirements
British Citizens travelling to the Seychelles require a full British passport. We recommend that you travel with at least 6 months validity on your passport from arrival in the Seychelles. All children and infants must also have their own passports. A visa is not required. Please check up to date visa requirements with the Foreign Office
You won’t be allowed to enter Seychelles if you’ve visited Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mali or the Democratic Republic of Congo within 21 days of the date of your arrival.
Language
The official language of the country is English, although the locals generally speak a French-influenced patois.
Transportation
If you’re based at one of the resorts the concierge will be able to arrange any transport you need.
Currency
The Seychelles Rupee is the official currency.

Vaccination & Health
A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from travellers over 1 year of age who come from or who have passed through a partly or wholly infected area within the preceding 6 days.
As health requirements change please consult with your GP or specialist travel clinic well in advance of your holiday for specific information related to your travel and medical history.
