The resort is situated at the tip of the Phranang Peninsula on southern Andaman coast in Krabi Province, surrounded by gorgeous limestone cliffs, dense tropical foliage and glistening clear waters, creating a tranquil atmosphere with the perfect level of seclusion.

An abundance of Krabi’s National Parks surround you, filled with trails around ancient rainforests, waterfalls, caves, emerald pools and a host of mammals, reptiles, bird species, insects and amphibians. Stroll through the town's morning market, and perhaps you could go on an adventurous kayak through the turquoise waterways and cliff walls of Ta Lane’s mangrove forests. The stunning Princess Lagoon is nearby, down at the southern tip, a great spot to enjoy a challenging climb and unforgettable panoramas. Visit Phi Phi Island for classic tropical beaches, clear waters decorated with marine life and beautiful rock formations, just a 35 minute speedboat journey from Rayavadee. The nearby islands of Poda, Chicken, Tub and Hong are perfect for half day excursions.

The resort features 96 spacious two-storey pavilions and 5 luxury beachfront villas, surrounded by tropical gardens and coconut groves.

Every guest enjoys their own circular two storey Pavilion -  all sleep a maximum of 3 people, 2 in King or Twin beds and a third in an extra sofa bed on the ground floor. They are categorised as below:

  • Deluxe Pavilion – Spacious with tropical décor and beautiful exotic surrounds.
  • Terrace Pavilion – Contemporary and stylish, these pavilions include a large living area, terrace with seating area and surrounding tropical gardens.
  • Pool Pavilion - Private pool with jacuzzi situarted in a luscious tropical garden with sun loungers and a terrace

The larger Family Pavilions sleep a maximum of 5 people, 2 in a King bed in the main bedroom, 2 in Hollywood Twin beds in the second bedroom and 1 in an extra bed on the ground floor.

  • Family Pavilion – Feature a ground floor bedroom with two queen-sized beds, outdoor dining area, sun loungers and a terrace, with a beautiful cliff backdrop and surrounding coconut palms.
  • Family Pavilion with pool – Feature the same facilities as the Family Pavilions, with the addition a private pool with jacuzzi, enclosed tropical garden with hammock, sun loungers and a dining area for private meals and BBQs.

The unique Villas come with a personal Butler Service. Guests can choose from the individually decorated and varying styles:

  • Family Villa - Among lush gardens and cliffs, a short walk from the beach with two bedrooms adjoining, a living room, outdoor lounging area around the private swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Perfect for families wanting luxury and easy access to the resorts facilities.
  • Rai Talay Villa - Located on a private corner of the Railay Beach looking out onto turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea. With two bedrooms and two ensuites, a living and dining room, kitchenette and outdoor decking with a hydro pool.
  • Rayavadee Villa - Looking out onto Phranang beach featuring the same facilities as the Raitalay Villa only a larger outdoor space for entertainment and a sauna
  • Phranang Villa 404 - Hidden amid limestone cliffs and looking out onto the Phranang beach, this Villa features three bedrooms each with an ensuite, a spacious living room and dining area with kitchenette ensuring entertainment is made easy. Complete with a private pool and Jacuzzi.

The food at Rayavadee is incredible, varied and traditional – the staff will describe the dishes to you too, providing an authentic culinary experience.

  • Raya Dining – International cuisine with a grill menu, locally-sourced seafood and delicious local favourites; open 7am-11pm.
  • Krua Phranang – Situated on Phranang Beach with a romantic ambience, this restaurant serves classic Thai dishes; open 6pm-11pm
  • Raitalay Terrace – A casual restaurant with light dishes inspired by Asian cuisines, overlooking the pool and Railay Beach; open 11am-11pm
  • The Grotto – Set under an ancient limestone cliff on Phranang Beach, The Grotto serves refreshing drinks and hosts a special seafood BBQ dinners several times a week. We love the charming boat ride to this venue, where you’ll walk barefoot the remainder of the way through the shallow waters – a wonderful experience; open 12pm-8pm.

Please note that during 15 July to 15 Sept maintenance work will be taking place at the Krua Phranang Restaurant, the Thai menu will be available instead at the Raya Dining restaurant from 1800-2300 and an a la carte menu will be at The Grotto in addition to the sunset BBQ offering.

  • Rayavadee spa, including massages, body wraps, facials, scrubs, therapies and salon treatments - the philosophy here is combining body, mind and spirit to promote well being

This resort is better suited to couples than families, as there are no dedicated facilities for children. However, the resort does provide cots for infants and extra beds for older children if needed; babysitting can also be arranged for an additional fee.

All guests staying in all room categories (excluding Deluxe Pavilions) & villas receive a complimentary option to dine for breakfast at the a la carte breakfast option

Raitalay Terrace restaurant offers a la carte breakfast option served beachside and is available daily

or Raya Dining offers buffet, hot and cold order items

Honeymooner's staying for a minimum of 3 consecutive nights will receive:
