Day 1
Kuala Lumpur
Arrive in Malaysia's capital city, where new skyscrapers meet ancient street houses. An eclectic mix of everything awaits in this compact city. Try the cities fabulous street food in Jalan Alor, head to the top floor of the mighty Petronas Towers or visit the street houses of Kampung Baru.

Day 2
Kuala Lumpur
Spend your second day exploring all that the city of Kuala Lumpur has to offer. You may choose to wander through the historic heart of the city at Merdeka Square or tour the Royal Palace before enjoying the city's vibrant nightlife in the evening.
Overnight: The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur or similar.
Day 3
Penang
After breakfast, meet your driver and head up to the beautiful old city of Penang. This UNESCO Protected city is unique and beautiful and very easy to walk around. Where religions meet and live in complete harmony, this really is a special place.
Overnight: Campbell House or similar (breakfast included).
Day 4 - 5
Penang
Penang is super walker friendly and also flat, making it easy to get around. Spend the next two days exploring the city - with great restaurants and old buildings to visit. The evening street market offers delicious meals and snacks and there are all sorts of things to buy here.

Day 6
Borneo, Kota Kinabalu
Take a short flight to the gateway city on Malaysia Borneo, Kota Kinabalu. Spend time exploring this small city in the afternoon and grab a bite in one of the fantastic local restaurants.
Overnight: Hotel Mercure, Kota Kinabalu.
Day 7
Sandakan
Upon arrival at Sandakan Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your resort. The rest of the day is yours to unwind and enjoy at your own pace—whether it’s relaxing by the pool, exploring the nearby nature trails, or simply settling in amidst the lush surroundings.
Overnight: MY Nature Resort or similar (dinner included).
Day 8
Sepilok & River Cruise Adventure
Your day begins with a visit to the remarkable Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Here, you’ll witness these gentle primates during their feeding time and learn about the centre’s inspiring efforts to rehabilitate orphaned and injured orangutans back into the wild.
Continue with a peaceful walk through the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest before heading to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre—home to the world’s smallest bear species.
Later, board a boat for a scenic ride to Abai, where a delicious lunch awaits at the Abai Jungle Lodge. In the evening, embark on a serene river cruise along the Kinabatangan River. Watch the sun dip below the horizon and witness the magical display of fireflies lighting up the riverbanks.

Day 9
Pitas Oxbow Lake & Abai Village
Rise early for a tranquil morning cruise to the Pitas Oxbow Lake, a haven for birdlife and other wildlife. After returning, the rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your leisure.
For lunch, enjoy a special experience dining with the locals in Abai village—or opt for a quiet meal back at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you’ll head out on another memorable river cruise to spot more of Borneo’s incredible wildlife.

Day 10
Borneo - Sandakan
After breakfast, you’ll travel overland back to Sandakan for your onward flight in the afternoon (after 2pm).
Arrive in Kota KInabalu where you will be transferred to your lovely beach resort where rest and relaxation will be the order of the next few days.
Overnight: Shangri La Rasa Ria or similar (breakfast and lunch included).
Days 11-14
In resort
Spend the next few days relaxing in a beautiful beach resort, reminiscing on the adventure you have been on over the past two weeks - the perfect end to your trip.

Day 15
Departure
