A wonderful tour of China including Beijing, Xian, Chongqing, Yichang, Shanghai, Suzhou plus a few days on the famous Yangtze River. Not only Peking for Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall; Shanghai for the Bund and a glimpse of this rapidly growing city, Xian for the Terracotta Warriors but also the Yangtse river on a cruise through the gorges and a visit to the high dam.This is a full itinerary, so you will need lots of energy but you will get to experience all the highlights of this massive and fascinating country. Today you will visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. There will be a chance to take photos at the Bird Nest & Water Cube.

Day 3 (Fri)
Beijing
Today visit the Temple of Heaven and, Mutianyu Great Wall with a Jade stone workshop en route. An optional excursion to a Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck dinner in the evening is also available to you (pay locally approximately USD 60 per person).

Day 4 (Sat)
Beijing/Xian
This morning relax at leisure. This afternoon take the high speed train to Xi’an (4.5 hours). On arrival transfer to your hotel – Titan Times Hotel Xian.

Xian
Full day excursion to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, and visit to the ceramics & pottery workshop en route. Also visit the City Wall and Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy a Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show tonight.

Day 6 (Mon)
Xian/Chongqing
Fly to Chongqing, transfer and board the MV Victoria Jenna Cruise (Deluxe 5 Star Cruise, standard cabin with balcony).

Day 7 (Tue)
Three Gorges
Set sail for your 430 mile cruise through the breathtaking gorges and deep mountain valleys. Take an optional shore excursion in the morning to the ghost city of Fengdu, where the temples reveal ancient Chinese religion and legends including the ghost statue where people pray for good luck. In the afternoon a visit to Jade Emperor is included.

Day 8 (Wed)
Three Gorges
Today will be spent sailing the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, experience the changes in the river from wildly stirring to swirling bubbles. The mossy cliffs are hemmed by the pathways under the twelve peaks. When the boat gets to the famous Shennog Steam, change to a smaller vessel and sail further into the gorge. In the afternoon, return to the MV Victoria Jenna to continue sailing into the Xiling Gorge.

Day 9 (Thu)
Yichang/Shanghai
Today you will sail to Maoping where you'll disembark to transfer by road to the Three Gorges Dam site. Transfer to the airport and fly to Shanghai.
Stay at the Ocean Hotel Shanghai.

Day 10 (Fri)
Shanghai
Full day visit to the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, the Bund and the Xintiandi and Pudong new development zone. An optional excursion to enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show (pay locally approximately USD 60 per person).

Day 11 (Sat)
Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai
Today, visit the water town of Suzhou including a trip to see the Garden of the Master of Nets, cruise on the Grand Canal and the Silk spinning factory finishing with a chance to explore the Pingjiang Road Old Town area.

Departure transfer to airport for your flight home, flight to depart between 8am - 10pm.
