Overview

We have created this 11 night twin centre for you to be able to enjoy time on two Indonesian islands - Bali and Lombok. There are many sides to Bali, from the rainforests and cultural centre of Ubud, to exciting beach resorts with a wide array of restaurants, bars, shops and attractions.

We have chosen a hotel in one of the less-developed areas, The Pavilions Sanur. After 5 nights in Bali, you'll then take a speed-boat over to Lombok. Here you will enjoy a more laid-back few days, on this beautiful unspoilt island at Hotel Tugu, close enough to take day trips over to the gorgeous Gili Islands, great for snorkelling among the reefs and a good place to look out for turtles. You can simply relax on the soft sand beaches or take a trek inland to see the verdant interior (TM).

Days 1-6

Bali

Arrive in Bali after an overnight flight from the UK where you'll be met and transferred half an hour to the The Pavilions Bali.

Here is perfect for ultimate relaxation on the tranquil beach or by the quiet pool set in five acres of beautiful gardens. You can explore the laid-back resort of Sanur, and perhaps head for the Blue Lagoon which is protected by a reef against the high waves. You can also snorkel, windsurf of take a boat trip.

If you'd like to spend a couple of nights somewhere more lively we can suggest additional hotels you can add to this tour.

The Pavilions Bali (5 nights)

Days 6-10

Lombok

Check out of your Bali hotel early on day 8 and transfer to the port at Benoa for an exciting speedboat trip over to neighbouring Lombok; the crossing is around 2 hours via the beautiful Gili Islands.

Check into your hotel in time for lunch and spend the next few days enjoying the slower pace of life on beautiful Lombok, an ideal destination for a peaceful beach stay with fine sands and clear blue seas. Spend a day trip to the neighbouring Gili Islands where you can snorkel with turtles and enjoy lunch on one of the three islands. If you can tear yourself away from the gorgeous beaches and your wonderful resort, take time to seek out the island's waterfalls and traditional Sasak villages or trek in Mount Rinjani National Park.

Hotel Tugu Lombok (5 nights)

Day 11

Transfer by boat or fly to Bali for your last night befire flying home the next day or continuing your travels. Stay one more night at The Pavilions

The Pavilions Bali (1 night)

Day 12

Transfer from your hotel for your onward flight or flight home.

Nyepi Day

Nyepi Day takes place for one day in March, and is an important Hindu celebration marking the Balinese New Year.  Meaning “Day of Silence” this is a day of reflection and any activity that may prevent that is prohibited. The day is marked with a public holiday and restrictions are imposed on any kind of noise, travel, entertainment or work. Although tourists are free to do as they wish within hotels, nobody is allowed to leave the hotel premises between the hours of 6am and 6am the following day. Hotels will remain operational but with limited staff and Bali airport will remain closed.
