Day 2 Lisbon

Day 3 The Algarve
Journey across the Tagus and venture south towards the Serra da Arrábida Mountains. You'll be met with the hearty aroma of Portuguese chicken for lunch in Alentejo as you connect with locals at a stud ranch. Here you'll learn about the Lusitano horses and how they were reared for the pleasure of King João VI, before continuing to the sandy shores of the Algarve.

Day 4 The Algarve

Day 6 Viseu
En-route to Viseu you’ll stop in the quaint hilltop town of Castelo de Vide. With its charming façades, narrow alleys and fascinating Jewish Quarter, it’s a stop not to be missed.
Continue your journey northwards to the Serra de Estrela mountains before arriving in Viseu, perched high on a plateau. Enjoy this city’s rich art and architectural history and admire the 12th-century Sé, imposingly sat atop the hill.

Day 7 Douro Valley and Porto
Enchanting vineyards adorn the hills and provide a charming backdrop for your journey through the Douro Valley, where Port wine is produced. Day 8 Porto
Today you will hop aboard a sightseeing tour of Porto, taking you past baroque churches and along the windowing cobblestone streets that roll down to the Douro River. Day 9 Coimbra & Fátima
Soak up the grandeur of one of Europe's greatest and oldest universities with a Local Specialist, then stroll through the ancient streets of Coimbra, before discovering the Templar city of Tomar. Visit the Convent of Christ, originally built as a Templar stronghold in the 12th century. Later you’ll arrive in Fátima, visited by millions of Catholic pilgrims, where three young shepherds famously saw apparitions of the Virgin Mary.

Day 10 Return to Lisbon
