We love the idyllic location of The Royal Savoy, set amongst tropical gardens and offering a selection of three outdoor swimming pools to make the most of the beautiful outdoors. For those interested in art and interior design we recommend taking a short walk to the Design Centre which documents and celebrates the work of Funchal born Nini Andrade Silva, who is said to be one of the most prestigious interior designers in the world. After taking in the exhibitions you can enjoy some light refreshment in the cafeteria or something more substantial in the á la carte restaurant.

  • Junior Suite Ocean View – From 38sqm with views of the ocean; sleeps up to two adults. Twin or double beds plus sofa bed sleeping one adult or two children. Also features a combined living/bedroom, kitchenette, sitting area, and a furnished balcony.
  • Superior Suite Ocean View – More spacious at 85sqm and with views of the ocean. Sleeps up to four adults. Featuring twin or double beds, a separate living and dining area with a sofa bed (two adults or two children), living room, one bedroom, two bathrooms with walk-in shower; kitchenette, balcony (around 20sqm) with furniture and a sitting area.
  • Penthouse Rooftop Suite – Incredibly spacious 125sqm suites with views of the ocean and Funchal’s skyline. Sleeps up to four adults with a king size bed in the master bedroom, twin or double beds in the other bedroom, a separate living and dining area with a sofa bed (two adult or two children); living room, two bathrooms with walk-in shower and one with a jacuzzi bath, kitchenette, balcony (around 35sqm) with furniture, sitting area and surround sound entertainment system by Bang & Olufsen.

  • Armada Restaurant – open daily for breakfast and dinner and providing high-end cuisine, inspired by the best of Madeira’s flavours.
