With cottages set across 12 acres of Caribbean greenery, East Winds enjoys the friendly feel of a villa community that would entirely suit a couple looking for privacy and relaxation in a truly beautiful environment. The open-style cottages are quaint and characterful, allowing a holiday where you get a real sense of the beautiful Caribbean.

There’s a real emphasis on peace, quiet and total tranquillity – the lovely private beach is ideal for sunbathing but you can also venture to the shrubbery-shrouded pool for a great way to cool down. The clientele is mature and easy-going; you can enjoy a relaxed and stress-free break with like-minded people.

The resort is well-known for great food and drink, being a member of the prestigious Chaine Des Rotisseurs guild. Flamboyant Restaurant is the main dining room and features a grand piano and a greatly varied menu that changes regularly. Specialising in both international classics and local specialties with an emphasis of fresh seafood, you shouldn’t miss the catch of the day for some of the freshest flavours you’ll find in St Lucia.

East Winds All-Inclusive package is generous, offering all your food and drink including premium brands and champagne in the evening. You’ll also find non-motorised watersports and free Wi-Fi – perfect no matter what you’re looking for from your holiday.

Sitting in 12 acres of verdant, manicured gardens, East Winds is found in the north-west of St Lucia. The location is beautiful, backing on to a pristine sandy beach and the warm Caribbean Sea. You’re only ten minutes from the bustling Rodney Bay Marina but safe in the knowledge that you can return to this secluded haven at any time.

There is a total of 30 elegantly appointed cottages, all featuring:

The following room types are available:

  • Superior Cottage – located in the lower gardens a little way from the swimming pool and the beach, these spacious rooms offer great privacy, sleeps up to three guests. Total 300 sqft.
  • Deluxe Cottage – these larger cottages have a sunken outside shower and a flatscreen TV, sleeps up to three guests. Total 414 sqft.
  • Oceanfront Room – offering lovely views of the beach and the sparkling Caribbean Sea, sleeps up to two guests.  Total 400 sqft.
  • Oceanfront Suite – with a small separate living room and a large private sundeck, sleeps up to two adults and 2 children (on sofa bed).Total 552 sqft.
  • Two Bedroom Deluxe Cottage - this room category is made up of two adjoining Deluxe Garden Cottages that connect via an exterior door on the patio.  Sleeps up to 4 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children on a rollaway bed. Total 828 sqft.

Pleae note there are only three Ocean Front Rooms, one Ocean Front Suite and one 2 Bedroom Deluxe Cottage.

East Winds welcomes children aged 8 years or over, but please bear in mind that there are no organised activities for kids, so it may not be ideal if you’re looking for a classic family holiday.

 

The East Winds all-inclusive package features:

  • All meals including full made-to-order and buffet breakfast, island inspired lunch and oceanfront lunch barbecues, and silver-service four-course gourmet dinners, with once weekly land and sea barbecue dinners
  • All day lite-bite menu
  • All drinks by the glass including premium brand alcohol, house wines (choice of 2 whites, 2 reds and one rose, changed twice weekly), soft drinks and juices
  • Champagne served after 6pm, year round
  • Stocked mini-fridge, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Sparkling wine and chocolates in room on arrival

Wedding couples who have celebrated their wedding at East Winds will also receive a 20% discount on the double room rate, on a return visit to East Winds for their first or second anniversary. The stay must be within two years of their wedding celebration.

Please note there is a mandatory Tourism Levy of US$6.00 per person, per night for adults 18 and older, and $3.00 per person, per night for guests 12-17 years old.  This will be collected by the hotel either upon check in or check out.
