Antigua and St Kitts
Overview
Visit the Caribbean’s most unique colonial islands and realise the pure essence of tranquillity; from the sun-soaked shores and breath-taking panoramas of Antigua, to the rustic small towns and laid-back lifestyle of St Kitts.
Located at the heart of the Leeward Islands in northern Caribbean, Antigua is ringed with incredible beaches and an abundance of well-preserved coral reefs, fantastic for scuba diving and snorkelling. Discover Nelson’s Dockyard National Park, a charmingly-renovated Georgian naval base that sits right within Antigua’s historic heart, or check out the famous Hawksbill Beach, and lounge on a pristine white-sandy beach surrounded by 37 acres of tropical flora and fauna.
As an island still fairly untouched by tourism, St Kitts’ quaint allure stems from its unique heritage and agricultural legacies. As well as the usual long stretches of soft sandy beach and palm-studded shores, generic to the Caribbean, St Kitts is known for its quirky culture and sense of community. The island is steeped in history, having been colonised by both the British and French and is home to Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – well worth a look.
The islands are super accessible, with great air connections making it almost unforgivable not to visit them both at once!
