Flights and Transfers
A direct flight from Heathrow to L. F. Wade International Airport near St. George in Bermuda takes approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes. If you book your transfers with us, you’ll be met on arrival in Bermuda by a Tropical Sky representative who’ll guide you to your transfer vehicle.
Visa Requirements
British Citizens travelling to Bermuda require a full British passport which must be valid for 6 months after departure from this country. All children and infants must also have their own passports for entry into Bermuda. A visa is not required but accommodation must be booked prior to arrival. Please check up to date visa requirements on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) website or by contacting the relevant embassy.
Language
English is the official language. The Bermudan accent is quite strong, although arguably more easy to understand than many dialects in the Caribbean.
Transportation
It isn’t possible to rent a car – it is prohibited by law! Taxis and buses are generally very good.
Currency
The Bermuda Dollar is the official currency and has parity with the US Dollar, which are usually accepted
