Overview

With a secluded location on a tranquil peninsula and two gorgeous white sand beaches, you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’ve found a tropical paradise when you arrive at the all-inclusive St James’s Club & Villas. This is one of our favourite family-friendly resorts in Antigua, where you’ll be greeted with a big smile and welcomed into your retreat with open arms.

The laidback, club-like ambience will make you feel like you’re part of something special. There’s a great community feeling to this resort, with helpful staff around every corner, and lots of fun places to make new friends and create awesome memories.

We love that there are so many places to take a dip and soak up the sunshine. With two beaches – Mamora Bay and Coco Beach – and four lovely swimming pools, you’re truly spoilt for choice when it comes to unwinding or enjoying a bit of family bonding.

The Kidz Club, open 9.15am-11pm, offers a whole host of fun for the kids, with fantastic nature trails, art classes and sports keeping them busy as mum and dad swim in the adult-only tiered pool and indulge in a soothing spa treatment. Young explorers could even enjoy dinner and movie with their new friends at the Kidz Club, leaving you to enjoy a romantic evening at the idyllic Piccolo Mondo Italian restaurant.

This fun retreat is hidden away on an isolated 100-acre peninsula, an emerald green paradise located on the south-eastern coast of Antigua.

With two white sand beaches to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to unwinding in the sunshine. Mamora Bay’s tranquil waters are ideal for swimming, whilst Coco Beach’s shallows abundant in tropical marine life makes it one of our favourite sports for snorkelling.

  • Club Room – spacious rooms offering lovely garden views with private balcony or terrace, with a king bed and a private balcony or patio. Some rooms have partial ocean view.
  • Premium Room – larger rooms with partial ocean views, with two doubles or a king-size bed.  Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. 
  • Beachfront – with direct access to the beach and fantastic views, offering a king-size bed or two double beds (on request). Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
  • Junior Suite - with either Garden or Ocean views these rooms have a private balcony and one king bed, plus a day bed. Sleeps 2 adults and  child under 12yrs
  • Royal Suite – Adult-only suites with a separate living room, private balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows, king bed and spacious bathroom with a deep-soaking tub. These suites also offer private check-in and a lounge a new swimming pool and are complete with WIFI, Ipod docking stations and DVD players.  Minimum age is 16 years. Sleeps 2 adults.
  • Two-bedroom Villa - Luxurious villas situated in the Club's village area, with separate dining and living areas, a full kitchen and a balcony or patio overlooking Mamora Bay. One bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds, each with a full bathroom with bath, shower with plush bathrobes.   There is also a queen pull-out sofa bed in the living area.   Sleeps 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children. 1600 sq ft
  • Three-bedroom Villa - Gorgeous villas nestled in the Club Village area, offering a private terrace or balcony with partial ocean or garden view. There are three bedrooms - two with a king size bed, and one with twin beds, two full bathrooms with bath, shower with plush bathrobes, plus a separate toilet/washroom and queen pull-out sofa bed in the living area.  Sleeps 6 adults or 5 adults and 2 children.  1900 sq ft

Kids Club

The St James’s’ Kidz Club is the perfect getaway for young kids looking for fun, sea and sand. Located near Coco Beach, the club has a fenced play area and a covered games area right next to the main pool, offering a safe place for children aged 4-11 to play and make new friends.

There are plenty of exciting activities to keep young guests entertained and having fun, including art classes, swimming activities, nature trails, and seasonal themed programmes. Open 9.00-5.30pm, The Kidz Menu is also available for lunch and can be chosen by you on a daily basis.

For Teens

Older kids will be spoilt for choice with a great range of activities such as tennis, pickleball, kayaking, hobie-cat sailing, paddle boarding, fitness classes and more

Incidental purchases may include things like tours, excursions, gift shop purchases, and dining in our specialty restaurant. We understand that not all guests incur additional charges during their stay, but this process assists the resort with fraud prevention. The pre-authorisation is released at check-out, assuming you have not charged any purchases to your room.

Resort Fee
A resort fee of US$24.00 per room, per night, is payable locally at the resort at check-in. The resort fee does not include the Antigua Government Tourism Levy (US$5.00 per person per night) but is inclusive of all other taxes.
