On the northeast coast of Antigua, Blue Waters sits in 17 acres of manicured tropical garden, making it one of the most secluded resorts in the Caribbean. We love the stunning surrounds, flanked by two white sand beaches.

This is a beautiful resort in elegant settings that is perfect for romantic couples holidays and relaxing family holidays, offering either bed and breakfast or all-inclusive. Blue Waters offers the intimacy and personal service of a family run hotel.  We love the food here – there are three highly regarded restaurants offering a la carte dining in sophisticated style. It’s located just 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the capital St John’s, making it ideal for exploring Antigua and making the most of your Caribbean holiday.

Top tip: the beach has to be accessed by steps, so may not be accessible to all.

Located on the northwest corner of Antigua nestled along Soldier’s Bay, this beautiful resort is surrounded by intimate beach coves, tropical gardens and swaying palm trees offering a tranquil ambience.

The resort is only a 12 minute drive to colourful shops and a beautiful cathedral in St. John’s. Alternatively you could take a day trip to English Harbour with the bustling Nelsons dockyard.

The following room types are available:

  • Deluxe beachfront: these rooms offer modern Caribbean décor with gorgeous views of the ocean. Some interconnect and all offer a private patio or balcony. Sleeps a maximum of two adults and one child.
     
  • Luxury suite: sophisticated suites with the same amenities as the deluxe beachfront plus a private double balcony and more space. Sleeps a maximum of three adults and one child or two adults and three children.
     
  • Pelican house: luxurious 1,800 sq. ft. villas overlooking the sea from its private pool. These villas feature a living area, kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas and three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Six bedrooms are available upon request. Sleeps a maximum of seven adults or six adults and four children when booking six bedrooms.
     
  • Rock cottage: intimate villas with unspoiled ocean views and a private terrace. These 1,200 to 2,000 sq. ft. villas feature a separate living area, kitchen and plunge pool. Guests can choose between two or five bedrooms. Two bedroom villas hold a maximum of four adults and two children whilst the five bedroom villas hold a maximum of nine adults and three children.
     
  • Turtle cottage: gorgeous 4,200 sq. ft. villas with classic interiors, offering a private kitchen, private pool, large sunbathing area, patio and balcony. Up to four bedrooms can be booked, sleeping a maximum of nine adults or eight adults and six children.
     
  • The cove suites: incredibly decadent suites located away from the main resort, stay in a cove suite and you’ll be graced with true seclusion and serenity. These modern suites offer a spacious open-plan living area and bedroom plus an ensuite bathroom. The suites are set along four blocks, each with their own pool reserved exclusively for Cove Suite guests. Sleeps a maximum of three adults or two adults and two children.
     
  • The cove penthouses: nestled on top of the cove suites, these spectacular penthouses offer unparalleled 220 degree views of the ocean from their private balconies. The infinity pool is reserved for guest’s exclusive use and overlooks the ocean. All penthouses feature a separate living area, dining area, kitchen and three bedrooms. Sleeps a maximum of seven adults or six adults and four children.

  • Palm Restaurant: alfresco dining offering international cuisine and local specialities. Open 7am to 10.30am, 12.30pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 9.30pm (last order). Dress code: casual attire though always covered up during the day.
  • Bartleys Restaurant: an elegant, romantic restaurant serving delicious Caribbean cuisine. Open two to three nights a week depending on the season. Dress code: tailored shorts or trousers and collared shirts.
  • The Cove: sumptuous Caribbean cuisine with a French twist, located near the cove suites and nestled on a hilltop with beautiful sea views. Open 6pm to 9.30pm (last order), four to five nights a week depending on the season. Dress code: elegant evening attire including collared shirts for men.
  • Pelican Bar: an authentic, lively Caribbean bar, offering cocktails and a carefree ambience. Open daily from 6pm. Dress code: smart casual wear.
  • Veronicas Bar: located by the main pool, sit by swaying palm trees and drink in the gorgeous pool views - perfect for sundowners.
  • Carolyn's Pool and Beach Bar: a rustic bar stocked with fantastic cocktails and comfortable sun loungers.  Offers a pool and beach side food and beverage service.

Please note when occupancy is low and/or when covid restrictions are in place, Palm will be open daily with full a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner and The Cove is open on rotation for a la carte dinner. Carolyn's is open as a pop-up restaurant on selected evenings offering an a la carte tapas menu.

Kids Club
The kids club is available All year round, open Monday-Friday from 09.30-4pm for children aged 5 years or over.  Activities are to be booked on arrival at the resort as 1-1½ hour sessions.  All activities are complimentary but spaces are limited. 
Please note the kids club closes for lunch each day and children must be collected and brought back after lunch if they have been booked for a morning and afternoon session, unless a suitable nanny or babysitting session has been booked. Younger children may be accepted during term time dates if the kids club is quiet, but through main school holiday periods the age restriction is strictly 5 years or older.

Creche
The creche will not be reintroduced - please book nanny or babysitting services as needed.

Babysitting & Nanny service
Spend quality time with your partner or pamper yourself safe in the knowledge that your child is in the best hands. Childcare staff, Worldwide Kids expert trainers and babysitters are all police checked. Babysitting is organized by the childcare coordinator in the resort and can be either prebooked before you arrive or booked whilst in the resort. Prebooking is strongly recommended.  Babysitting tends to be based in the guests room with gentle activities such as reading, supervising naps, playing with toys, etc.  The Nanny service is typically for those who may need a trained professional to look after their child for extended periods, and would ensure the child is kept entertained for the duration of the service with a range of activities around the resort

Babysitting & Nanny services are charged to the guest’s room and will be payable at the end of their holiday:

  • Babysitting - US$16.00 per hour per child (min. 2 hours), $5 per hour per additional child. 
  • Nanny service - US$20.00 per hour per child, (min. 4 hours), $10 per hour per additional child

An additional $20 is charged for a meal service for the nanny or babysitter to dine with the child(ren) for sessions over 4 hours.  There is a $20 taxi fare charge for services after 11pm.  All costs are subject to change and will be confirmed on arrival

The all-inclusive package includes:

  • Full English breakfast in Palm Restaurant
  • Lunch at Carolyn's or the Palm Restaurant
  • Sundowners at Veronica's - cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from 5-7pm each evening
  • Dinner in the Palm Restaurant, The Cove Restaurant or Carolyn's on a rotation basis
  • Premium branded bar drinks (certain top premium drinks at an additional charge) and house wines
  • Free stocked minibar for those on All Inclusive plan only

Please note: only 2 dining experiences are guaranteed to be open every evening at management's discretion, including the "pop up" restaurant concept at Carolyn's. 
Afternoon tea has been replaced by Sundowners as listed above.

A breakfast only meal plan is also available.

Compulsory All Inclusive dates

If staying in the Deluxe Beachfront, the All Inclusive plan is compuslory for all stays that include the following dates:

  • 21st-28th October 2023
  • 21st-28th October 2024

If staying in the Cove Penthouse, Pelican House, Turtle Cottage or Rock Cottage you may stay on Bed & Breakfast or All Inclusive on all travel dates

Honeymoon couples on the Blue Waters Honeymoon Package will receive:

  • VIP check-in and welcome amenity
  • Champagne and chocolates on arrival
  • Romantic nightly turndown service
  • Champagne breakfast served on your patio on a morning of your choice

Wedding Anniversary couples and couples celebrating a special occasion will receive:

  • Champagne and welcome amenity in room on arrival
  • Botle of Champagne and  a celebration cake on a day of your choice
  • 2 x 30 minute spa treatments

Minimum stay
A three night minimum stay applies all year except over Easter when a 7 night stay applies
The Festive season minimum stays policy varies as follows:
- Festive 2024/5 - For any guests staying 20-26 December a minimum stay of 7 nights applies regardless of arrival date.  A 10 night minimum stay applies for arrivals 27-31 December, and 7 nights for arrivals 01-02 January 2025.
- Festive 2025/6 -  A 10 night minimum stay applies for arrivals 22-26 December, and 7 nights for arrivals 27 December-01 January 2026.
