Day 1

Arrive in Cape Town and collect your hire car. Your hotel, an ideal base for exploring the city, is found on the lower slopes of Signal Hill. This area is just a short walk from the V&A Waterfront and moments from the beautiful beaches of Cape Town.

Day 2

Today you’ll spend time exploring Cape Town and spending time taking in the sights.

Day 3

Today is your last full day in Cape Town, giving you a chance to spend some more time at the beaches and exploring the attractions.

Day 4

This morning you will leave Cape Town and journey on to Hermanus. This area of South Africa is famous for amazing whale watching opportunities and a host of other exciting activities, such as cycling, hiking, shopping, wine routes, beaches and amazing dining. Situated in the suburb of Hermanus is a charming guesthouse, Les Baleines, which is found between the ocean and the majestic mountains.

Day 5

Spend another day exploring Hermanus, from the art galleries to paragliding across the landscape.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will continue on to the Klein Karoo area for your first night at your base hotel.

Today you’ll spend another day in the Klein Karoo area.

Day 8

Continue on your journey towards one of the most popular locations in South Africa – Knysna. This picturesque area is famed for its indigenous forests and charming beaches, making it a truly stunning location.

Overnight: Protea Hotel by Marriott Knysna Quays, Guest Room Two Doubles Lagoon View, Bed & Breakfast basis (or similar)

Day 9

Today sees you spend another day in Knysna, where you can go hiking and trekking through the forests or lounge on the beaches for some relaxation.

Day 10

After breakfast, you’ll travel towards the Eastern Cape for a safari which serves as the final leg of this tour. Your lodge is situated with Kariega Game Reserve, where you can enjoy morning and evening game drives.

Day 11

Today is your last full day which you’ll spend enjoying game drives and taking in the sights.

Day 12

Today you will continue on to Port Elizabeth where you’ll drop off your hire car and catch your flight to Johannesburg. From here you will catch your connecting flight home.
