Day 1
Most flights into Nairobi arrive quite late in the evening. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your Nairobi hotel and briefed on a meeting time for day two by your driver/guide. Enjoy some drinks and snacks, before heading to bed for a good night’s rest ready for your first safari adventure.

Day 2
After an early breakfast, set off on your safari in your purpose build 4x4 vehicle with your driver guide who will be with you for the entire trip. The 250 km drive is around 4.5 hours. As you move away from Nairobi the landscape increasingly becomes more impressive, building the excitement of heading towards Kenya’s leading game area.
You will arrive at your lodge located in the heart of the Masai Mara in time for lunch. No doubt you will have stopped a few times between the reserve entrance and the lodge to see your first game. Later that afternoon, experience your first full game drive in the reserve until sunset, returning for your evening meal at the lodge.

Day 3
Enjoy a full breakfast before setting off very early for your morning game drive. You will be back for lunch and have time for a few hours relaxation at the lodge before setting off for your evening game drive. Your driver will make sure you set off in search of any species you have not have managed to spot yet. The Mara is so full of wildlife there is a very good chance you will get to see all the animals you are hoping to.

Day 4
After an early breakfast, it is time to move on to your next location, Lake Nakuru. You will have around 200km to travel taking around 3.5 hours – plus stops to see wildlife on route of course.
Arrive in time for lunch and a few hours relaxation before heading out for your afternoon game drive. The heart of the park houses an impressive lake which has an abundance of birdlife. The openness of the lake also helps you to spot many mammals at the water’s edge. This fully fenced park provides a sanctuary for both Black and White Rhino maximising your chance of seeing these incredible animals on your safari. At sunset, head back to the lodge for your evening meal.

Day 5
An early start again, setting off for Amboseli. This is the longest drive of your safari being around 400km which takes around 7.5 hours of driving. You will have a stop on route at Lake Naivasha for a tranquil boat ride, ideal for spotting many bird species. Have a picnic lunch on route around the Nairobi areas before continuing to Amboseli.
Arrive in Amboseli late afternoon and enjoy the stunning views of Kilimanjaro as you enter the park and see your first glimpses of the wildlife residing here. Famed for its wetlands and elephants, this area will give you yet another impressive eco system to experience.

Day 6
You will have your last two game drives of your safari, one after breakfast and one late afternoon before sunset.

Day 7
After breakfast, it’s time to end your safari and head back to Nairobi for your return home, or an onwards journey to a beach for some well-deserved relaxation. Enjoy your last views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the game who permanently enjoy this view as you head out through the park for the four-hour (225km) trip back to the capital arriving around 13.30hrs. If booking onward flights these should depart after 16.30hrs.
