The Family Flying Safari is a great opportunity for kids and adults alike to enjoy the wonders of Kenya’s safari destinations. The Samburu and Mara Intrepids camps are spacious and ideally suited to families, with comfortable connected tents and perfectly positioned by the airstrips to minimise flight times.

Please note, the price shown above is an adult price.  We recommend this family safari for children over the age of 8. Children between the ages of 8-11 years will receive 25% discount off the adult price and children between 12-15 years will receive 20% discount off the adult price.

Day 1

Upon arrival into Nairobi, you’ll be met and transferred to the Eka Hotel for an overnight stay.  Enjoy the facilities at the hotel and surrounding area, relax after the flight and prepare for your exicting safari ahead.
 

Day 2

This morning you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for a short flight to the Samburu National Reserve. You will then be taken to the Samburu Intrepids, which will serve as your base for the next three nights on a Full Board basis. You will be staying in one of the spacious, inviting family tents which offer two separate tents. Each of these has their own private facilities, but is linked by a communal yet private lounge area.

 

Days 3-4

You will enjoy two full days at the Samburu Intrepids camp, enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives within the Samburu National Reserve on each day.

 

Day 5

Take an early morning game drive before breakfast then transfer to the airstrip for your short, direct flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Mara Intrepids – this is a beautiful tented camp situated within the vast reserve. Your stay here will be on a Full Board basis.

 

Days 6-7

You will spend today and tomorrow enjoying the facilities at the camp, as well as early morning and late afternoon game drives each day within the Masai Mara National Reserve.

 

Day 8

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi Wilson Airport.
