Day 1
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met at the airport and transported to your overnight stay to relax and get into the time zone before your adventure starts in the morning. No meals are included this evening. Upgraded hotels are available if you prefer something a little more comfortable.

Day 2
After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport for your short flight to Amboseli, taking less than an hour. On arrival you will be transferred to your camp located in the Amboseli eco-system within the Selenkay Conservancy, your home for the next 2 nights.
The 9 traditional tents are set among the shady Acacia Tortilis trees. They are made from canvas and have a veranda area with chairs and a small table. They have solar electric lights and there is ample storage and hanging space and a dressing table. Each tent has en-suite facilities which is accessed via a flap at the back of the tent. The bathroom consists of a flush toilet, wash basin with mirror and a classic bucket shower. This is real camping in the bush. Dinner is taken in the communal area and there is nothing nicer than finishing off your evening sitting around the campfire, listening to the sounds of the African night reminiscing about your sightings of the day.
Game drives here take place both in Selenkay Conservancy and in Amboseli National Park and are done in specially designed open-sided Landcruisers, giving you ample opportunity to spot animals such as lion, rhino, buffalo, elephant, cheetah, spotted hyena, zebra and giraffe. There are no minibuses or other vehicles allowed on the Conservancy allowing guests a truly private game experience. On your evening game drive you will enjoy a sundowner with the most spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Day 3
You will have a full day either in Selenkay Conservancy or Amboseli National Park. Your guides will discuss your preferences of an early and late game drive with time to relax in the camp in between or a full day in Ambolseli National Park with a pic nic lunch.
For something a little different we recommend you take a walk with one of the Maasai warriors while they teach you about the various indigenous animals and plants used by the community. You can even visit the local Maasai village to experience the traditional Maasai village life.

Day 4
After your early morning game drive it is time to leave Amboseli and head off to the Mara.
On arrival into the Masai Mara you will be transferred to your camp which is situated in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy, one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Serengeti-Mara eco-system. You will spend the next 3 nights in this stunning area.
The 6 tents here are similar to those in Amboseli.
You will have time for a delicious lunch before heading off in your open sided 4x4 vehicle on your afternoon game drive exploring the conservancy, ending of course with a sun downer.

Day 5
A full day in the Masai Mara ecosystem. You can choose to stay in the conservancy which is briming with wildlife and has very few vehicles feeling like a private safari, or if you prefer, today is a good day to head into the Masaia Mara Game Reserve. This is always a little busier with traffic but still worth a visit. You will be given a pack lunch and head out for the whole day.
Alternatively, this is the perfect day for a balloon safari. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience and would involve you heading off very early to the Mara park, boarding pre sunrise and drifting across the landscape and the sunlight and warmth gentle arrives for the day. It is an incredible way to spot game from the low altitude your trip will take for much of the journey

Day 6
This will be your last day in the conservancy, so ideal to track the resident pride of lions.
You will have the chance for an escorted walk with one of the knowledgeable Maasai guides as well as the excitement of a night game drive.

Day 7
Today you say goodbye to Kenya and hello to Tanzania, the next part of your African adventure. After one last game drive you will take a couple of short flights to arrive at your camp in Tanzania and the stunning Serengeti.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to camp. Set in the heart of the Serengeti plains in northern Tanzania, part of the Serengeti-Mara eco-system, this intimate camp offers seclusion in the heart of the National Park. You will have 2 nights here to explore one of the most renowned wildlife parks in the world.
The Serengeti is of course famous for the migration, but with the sheer numbers of wildlife in the park, you are able to enjoy fantastic encounters at any time of the year.
Nimali is perfectly situated on the path of the migratory route in a quiet spot with endless views over the hills and plains of the National Park. There are just 8 authentic en-suite tents each combining modern furnishings with the feeling of adventure from a bygone era. Each has a verandah, a fan and windows with mesh to allow air to circulate during the heat of the day.
We love the open fire area located under the acacia tree which is lit up with lanterns hanging from each branch. The perfect place to relax after dinner.
As well as morning and evening game drives (with sundowner) you have the chance of taking a hot air balloon (at extra cost). This will be done at sunrise and allows you the most spectacular views of the endless plains and the wildlife that live there. After the flight you will be served a hot bush breakfast.

Day 8
With the whole day in the Serengeti, you will enjoy two long game drives with a good amount of relaxation time at camp in-between with all your meals provided. Finishing your evening drive with a sundowner, you will now be well accustomed to will see your last sunset in the Serengeti before you move on. Day 9
After one last early game drive followed by breakfast at camp, you will be taken to the airstrip for you flight to Manyara – taking around and hour.
On arrival you will be met and taken in to Lake Manyara National park for a pic nic lunch followed by a game drive eagerly trying to spot the famous tree climbing lions..
You will then head onwards to your lodge, around a 30 minute drive in time for check in and dinner

Day 10
You will need a very early breakfast today as you will set off at 7am to descend into the crater for your incredible game drive. With its’ ideal location in the ancient acacia forest right on the rim of the crater, this beautiful camp has the advantage of easy access to the crater floor. This gives guests at Lemala an hour’s head start over others heading to the crater floor in the mornings. The Ngorongoro is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley with the crater being its focal point. A tremendous variety of wildlife is found here for you to enjoy.
You will have a pic nic lunch before starting to make your way onwards to your last game reserve stop. After you have left the park, it will take just over 2 hours to get you to Tarangire where you will head to your camp with one or two wildlife stops on route in time to settle in and dinner under the stars.
Your accommodation is at the intimate Nimali Tarangire Camp. Just 10 airy canvas tents on slightly raised decking with beautiful views over the river bed. Furnishings in the tents offer a sense of exploration with a large, leather strapped travelling chest, writing desk and charming four poster beds. The bathrooms have a flush toilet, double vanity basin and revitalizing rain shower. There is a deck with chairs and a small table. An ideal place to sit with a coffee in the morning and watch the elephants enjoying breakfast on the other side of the bank.

Day 11
You will have the full day to explore Tarangire, taking both a morning and afternoon game drive. The park is dominated by the Tarangire River which provides permanent water for wildlife in the area. Large herds of elephants are frequently seen here as well as lion, leopard, hyena and buffalo. The birdlife here is superb with more than 550 species in the area.

Day 12
Enjoy a very leisurely breakfast and enjoy the sounds and sights of the wildlife before heading off to the airport for your onward flight. The transfer is around two hours and will take you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro depending on the next leg of your journey.
Simply head back home having enjoyed the is extensive safari, or maybe take a short flight to Zanzibar for some relaxation on the beach. If you still have a thirst for wildlife action maybe head to Uganda for 2 extra nights for a Gorilla trek completing your sighting of all of Africas magnificent animals.
