Overview

The Club Barbados is an adults-only all-inclusive resort sitting on the fashionable West coast at St James. Set in lush tropical gardens, this resort has a very peaceful vibe. We love the fantastic spa and fitness centre which leads on to the pretty central pool surrounded by lawns.

The minimum age at the resort is 16, and this ensures a tranquil and relaxing setting for a couple’s getaway, a small group holiday or for single travellers. There are two restaurants and three bars including the popular Tommy’s Bar, offering traditional Bajan rum – a real taste of the Caribbean. We think the free Wi-Fi in the lobby and the main bar is a nice touch too.

Days spent at The Club Barbados can be filled with whatever you want. On the lazy days you can lounge in the sun by the pool or enjoy a massage at the spa. But when you’re feeling a little more active and adventurous there are opportunities for tennis, kayaking and snorkelling.

  • Superior Oceanfront – within steps of the beach with fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea from the French Balcony or patio.
  • Superior Garden View – spacious rooms overlooking the tropical gardens or pool from panoramic windows or a balcony
  • One Bedroom Garden View Suite – featuring a living room and a spacious bedroom overlooking the pool or tropical gardens from the balcony or patio.
  • One Bedroom Oceanfront Suite – spacious rooms just a few steps from the beach, offering lovely views of the Caribbean Sea with a separate living area and a large balcony or patio area leading onto the sand.

  • Sunset Restaurant – oceanfront dining serving up international dishes and local specialities either buffet lunch or a la carte dinner with a weekly Beach Barbecue
  • Enid’s – Bajan-style restaurant serving classic Caribbean cuisine (Reservations required, dinner only)
  • Sunset Bar & Lounge - Spacious bar with pool views, regular entertainment and a great cocktail menu
  • Beach Bar - Relaxed area with fantastic views of the tranquil waters
  • Rum Shop Bar - An authentic Barbadian rum bar with a casual atmosphere

DRESS CODE:
In the restaurants, shoes must be worn, bathing suits must be covered and men do not wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. After 6.30pm men have to wear slacks and collared shirts and women wear dresses, slacks or culottes (no shorts or shorts outfits).

Hotel closure - Club Barbados is currently closed and will reopen on 10th August 2024

Pre-authorisation charge: Please note guests are required to present a valid form of ID (passport, driving license, ID card) along with a valid credit card at check-in. At check-in a US$350 pre-authorisation will be processed on your card to cover any incidental purchases or similar expenses. Incidental purchases may include things like tours, excursions, gift shop purchases, and dining in our specialty restaurant. We understand that not all guests incur additional charges during their stay, but this process assists the resort with fraud prevention. The pre-authorisation is released at check-out, assuming you have not charged any purchases to your room.

Resort Fee
A resort fee of US$24.00 per room, per night, is payable locally at the resort at check-in. The resort fee includes the Barbados Tourism Levy and all other taxes.
